Trident supports world’s largest LCD monitor

Reigate, UK, 21 July 2008. Trident announce that they are to support Sharp’s new 108” Full HD LCD display - the worlds largest.

The Sharp LC-1085 monitor from Trident offers unprecedented visual impact to multimedia and information displays for retail, events, control rooms and educational applications.

The screen offers a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels across the 2.74m diagonal screen with contrast ratios of 1200:1. AV and PC interfaces on the display include: DVI-I, 3x HDMI, Composite, Component, S-Video.

The display has been designed for demanding 24 hour continuous operation and features a brightness of 400cd/m² with an advanced 176 degree viewing angle. Sharp have successfully developed the 108” display using the latest technology from the worlds first 8th Generation LCD plant in Japan, to again lead the worlds large format display market.
